If you love to cook, paint, draw, sew or anything else that
resembles creativity,
the Foothills Country Fair wants you. Entries for categories such as art works, handcrafted articles, and baked and canned goods will be accepted. This event is open to the public (not limited to 4-H members). All work must be original, made by the entrant and completed within the past 12 months (as long as the exhibit still fits within the other guidelines). Entries are to be taken to Tri-State Exhibition Center’s new Hospitality Room. This will allow Quilts, fabric items, photos and art work to be displayed in a protected environment.

Age categories are:
Grades 4-5, 6-8, 9-12
Youth aged 18 - still in high school, should enter
youth categories for grades 9-12.
Youth categories include photography (all color), eggs (best dozen), food (baking), art works and handcrafted articles. Choices under each of these are listed below.
The adult categories (all those out of high school) are the same as youth
with the addition of canning. One jar per category per contestant accepted.
Ribbons will be awarded in all categories, and premiums (cash awards)
will be paid as follows:
First place, $4; second place $2; and third place $1.
FOOD: BAKING Biscuits, Cornmeal Muffins (3),Bread (quick loaf)
ART WORKS: Pencil/Ink drawing, Paint mediums (water, oil, etc.), Marker/Crayon drawing, Other
HANDCRAFTED ARTICLES: Crocheted item, Knitted item (hand), Wood Bird house, Bat house (unpainted), Sculpture (any media), Other Handicraft work, Scrapbook Page
ADULT CATEGORIES
Adult Age Group: 18 & up Youth aged 18 and up who are still enrolled in high school will enter the youth categories for grades 9 - 12

CLOTHING - MACHINE SEWN: Shirt or Blouse, Shorts, Pants, Skirt, School wear
