our most precious natural resources!

Museum Center at 5ive Points - Code 970

The Museum Center's "River of Time" exhibit takes you through seven time periods beginning with the early Native Americans. Experience the settling of Europeans, the Civil War where local families and friends were divided, the emergence of the railroad through Cleveland which landed it as an industrial center, the changes integration brought, how World Wars affected the local community, and the power of TVA - with its many jobs, distribution of electricity, and creation of gorgeous lakes for recreation.

In addition to the award winning permanent "River of Time", temporary exhibits add to your excursion  ~ an annual quilt show (January through March), as well as various genres of art & specific historic periods and event, often with guest curators, or our own talented staff.. Check our   EVENTS   Page for current exhibits - and those forthcoming.
